Give help
Donating time:
We love our volunteers! We have volunteer trainings twice a year and topics typically include: domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, LGBT victims, Native American victims, diversity, how domestic violence affects children, self defense and other related issues. It is 24 hours of free training that is open to professionals as well as the general public. University students can receive credit for service learning and/or internships. Those who actually want to volunteer with clients and/or at the shelter must pass a criminal background check first (included in the training).
Please call us at 435-867-9411 for more information or to find about the next training.
Donating items and money:
We are always accepting donations of new or gently used clothing, toys, blankets and items for the emergency shelter, as well as food and personal care kits/hygiene items. All donations are tax deductible. For info on where to drop them off, please call us at 435-867-9411. We hope to have a Paypal donation link here soon but in the meantime monetary donations can be mailed to Canyon Creek Women’s Crisis Center, P.O. Box 2081, Cedar City, UT, 84721-2081.
